In the track 1 'Spätsommer' I have used a very simple rule-based computer composition approach inspired by a pool table with infinite moving billiard balls that combines one idealized physical rule (elastic shock), a few simple, mostly random rules every time a shock occurs, composition rules based on the circle of fifths, a few classification rules (according the ball color), and finally a few random starting rules (velocity and direction of the ball movement).
